DFS License for FanDuel/DraftKings in PR

The Issue

Residents of Puerto Rico love the FanDuel and DraftKings sportsbooks, but we're missing Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS), which PrizePicks has been operating and have license since 2025. We want you guys please obtain DFS licenses from the Gaming Commission to activate it on the island.

Law 81-2019 legalized DFS with clear regulations (12% rates, audits), but FanDuel and DraftKings only have sports betting licenses, leaving thousands without access to fantasy contests in sports like NFL, NBA, and baseball. PR represents a growing market: sportsbook has been a local success since 2025, and blocking DFS hinders competition and options for loyal users.

Puerto Rico demonstrates a dynamic sportsbook market comparable to small US states, with explosive growth that justifies activating DFS in FanDuel and DraftKings. Sportsbook Market Data: PR vs. Small States.

Puerto Rico (FY24-25): $313M annual handle, +99.7% YoY growth, population 3.2M
Rhode Island: $484M handle, stable, population 1.1M, New Hampshire: $785M handle, +15-20% annual growth, population 1.4M. Montana: $66M handle, +25% growth, population 1.1M. PR DOUBLED its market in one year! Sportsbook is already generating millions—it's time for DFS with FanDuel and DraftKings.

Sportsbooks generate millions in Puerto Rico (9 operators, $2.2M in taxes in FY25). Blocking DFS stifles competition against PrizePicks and leaves revenue on the table. Puerto Rico deserves the same options as New Hampshire or Rhode Island.
