Councilmember Scott Benson of the Detroit City Council Green Task Force has proposed zoning in the Hubbard Richard neighborhood of Southwest Detroit that would allow the malevolent Moroun family to resume trucking operations in a community with already high rates of childhood asthma.  Mr. Benson also has received financial and political support from these polluters.  

We the undersigned express our support for the resignation of Councilmember Scott Benson from the Detroit City Council Green Task Force.
