In just a few short hours I received a response from Kirsten McMurray of Detour Inc, Richard Linklater's company. Unfortunately, it was a firm and resounding no. I respect their decision and harbour no grudges towards anyone involved. I want to thank you all for supporting me in the short time this petition was active, it means the world to me, it truly does. Remember that it costs nothing to encourage someone but it can cost everything if you don't. I am grateful for this learning experience and hopeful for the future. C.
