I wish to thank all the people who shared and shared our petition which enabled us, in a few short months, to deliver the petition the the Head of CITES demanding the upgrade. Through our letter writing campaign, and during the handover, we were convinced that although we did not get the upgrade, we feel that we did manage to keep the International ban in trade, still in place, and of course, Swaziland was shut down regarding their submission for permission to trade. The war has not been lost, and we are already working on the next campaign, which will culminate again at the next CoP, which will be number 18, 2019.
