Recently, there was an uproar regarding visitors to #PaisleyPark being allowed to treat his items with blatant disrespect. The uproar and outrage was loud because the #purplearmy kicked up a 'purple storm'.Thanks to L Londell McMillan, the piano is now roped off just as an irreplaceable museum item should be. The reason we have to fight for this honor NOW is because we do not EVER want Prince's legacy to be destroyed long after we are all gone. That is exactly what is happening to another musician, 70 years after he passed away, and it may all be lost. We cannot allow that to happen to Paisley Park nor to Prince's legacy. Please #PrinceArmy, if you know anyone, please ask them to intervene and allow Minnesota Historical Society access to complete their study so that we can get this done! That is all that National Park services is waiting on. The property will remain privately owned, BUT once it is designated, the estate will be entitled to receive federal grants and FREE inspections to maintain the integrity of the building. It's a win-win for Paisley Park, the estate, and most of all PRINCE. So PLEASE continue to sign, share, tweet and COMMUNICATE as to why this is needed, so that we can get this done while President Obama is in office! Prez LOVED Prince! Thank you #Princefam - Prince LOVED you - so let's continue to show him some of our purple love. #Prince4EVER #savepaisleypark #Prince
