Path surfacing is complete, and is a huge improvement

Hello everyone, firstly THANK YOU to all of you who signed the petition, you helped to get the path surface and improved and I am proud of our community for making this happen.

The communication from the Council was very poor, but the main thing is, it gone done.

Lighting is going to be a much more complicated process (requiring public consultation, planning and funding). However, I have not given up, so I will keep this petition open as I think it is still important to try and get people's feedback on the use of the path when dark. We are coming into the Spring and Summer months, so that question will perhaps diminish until we hit Autumn. I would welcome anyone's feedback on how much better the path is now it's wider and flatter, but if we do still need to try and achieve a lighting solution.
