Opposition to lighting

I am aware that some residents do not support my idea of lighting for the cinder path. I would like to reassure everyone that I am looking at low-level, solar lighting (not huge, tall motorway lights). While I understand we do not want to cause light pollution for neighbouring houses, I do think the improvements in safety along the path, if better lighting is introduced, will be well worth it.
