Thank you to everyone who signed the petition which has resulted in the Arriva number 7 service being returned to the safety of the Bus Station from 27th March 2016. The petition is continuing however, until we achieve a satisfactory result for services 5 ,5A, 6, & 6A, all of which continue to depart from Babington Lane despite this being an unsafe location. The petition is now extended to include dissatisfied passengers in Alvaston, Boulton, Mackworth, Littleover, Pride Park & The Wyvern, where services have been drastically reduced & in some cases discontinued. The re-routing decisions made by Arriva, are isolating hundreds of people now unable to reach vital services such as shops, doctors surgeries & post offices, which is reducing peoples independence. Please help me to try & bring an improvement to these services, by continuing to sign the petition, & encouraging other people in these area's to do the same. With the paper petitions & the online one too, we have 2000 people who agree, that Arriva services in & around Derby need to be revised. Thank You.
