Hi all, thank you so much for your incredible show of support. We have even received press coverage for the cause and I believe this has helped to boost awareness and numbers - great work and thank you everyone! I have already e-mailed our Deputy Prime Minister as well as the MHA yesterday around 4PM with the current numbers at that time, but we have yet to receive any response. The letter text now displayed at the bottom of this petition is a slightly shortened version of what I sent. I will try contacting the relevant people again tomorrow. Meanwhile, do keep sharing & tweeting etc. to highlight this issue to people you know! Explain that honouring the freedom of speech does not mean we should not oppose messages and actions which directly harm others. Julien and RSD can say what they want but they will still have to face social consequences: such as how we refuse to welcome him and his messages here, just as the people of Australia and Brazil have already done for their countries.
