According to reports, the Iranian government killed more than 12,000 peaceful protesters in just five days, from January 8 to January 12, 2026. While Iranian officials openly chant “death to the United States,” many of them have family members living safely in the U.S.

Mahdi Zarif is one such individual. He is the son of Mohammad Javad Zarif, who served as Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2013 to 2021 and was subject to U.S. sanctions due to his role in implementing the policies of Iran’s Supreme Leader and acting as the regime’s primary spokesperson internationally. Mahdi Zarif has never separated himself from his father or his father’s actions. Despite the severe economic pressure and high inflation faced by ordinary Iranians, he has been living a luxurious life in the United States. Until 2021, he resided in a $16,000,000 home in Manhattan, benefiting from the wealth of the Iranian people in support of the Islamic Republic regime.

We, the Iranian people, demand the deportation of these individuals and the freezing of their assets. They live safely in the United States while benefiting from the suffering of Iranians, as their families continue to rule a brutal dictatorship in Iran.
