Next Step for Malayalam in to NAATI Australia

Next Step for Malayalam in to NAATI Australia

The Issue

Dear all...

"FURTHER STEP FOR MALAYALAM IN TO NAATI"

Team Melbourne KMCC got an appointment for meeting with MP Josh Bull , Parliamentry Secretary for Multicultural Ministry Affairs on 13th February 2020 and due to high requests from our Kerala students, especially after our effective meetings with Indian High Commissioner at Canberra and Indian Consul General in Melbourne. We are planning to raise our voice for our Malayali community towards inclusion of our Malayalam language into NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) list ,which will help our students and other Keralites who planning to apply for Australian Permanent Residency to get "EXTRA FIVE POINTS" for their Residency application. As a part of this we are collecting as much as signatures from our Malayali community especially from our Kerala Students and other keralites, who willing to apply for Permanent Resident visa, to present this matter to Multicultural Ministry along with our written Appeal.

For those who all already have their Australian Residency granted, this is a great chance to put the government's attention of you, to take the next steps for Malayalam as second language in Australian schools as well as to have qualified and government accredited interpreters for Malayalam, which can minimise the risks of translation services in hospitals, and other government and private bodies.

So please be part of this campaign by signing this link.

Let’s work together to make this happen for our Students and people from Kerala to get their Australian Permanent Residency Visa easily.

If any of our students or members of the communities from outside MELBOURNE KMCC would like to attend this meeting with Multicultural Ministry Office feel free to write us on melbournekmcc@gmail.com or kmccmelbourne@gmail.com.

Thanking you for your continued Support
