Hi everyone. We received some great news from the department this week. With over 80 submissions opposing the application (close to a Liquor department record), Souths has withdrawn their application for 2am trading, as a result will retain their current license conditions of midnight closing.

The changes to the other license conditions are still being negotiated but it seems there won't be any adverse impacts to the community as a result of these with a lot of the antiquated conditions being removed and replaced with more modern conditions.

Thanks everyone for the support. I was genuinely shocked that 80 people went to the effort to provide a submission, but great to see so many people took the time to ensure the right outcome in the end.
