We went back to the Department of Home Affairs in Middelburg today again. They once again refused to help us to get our baby registered. They claim now that they are unable to register our baby because district offices are not able to do this kind of birth registration. This we had already known is a lie - the civic supervisor at any home affairs office can do this registration.  Even though we spoke to the office manager, they still refused to help us. Our next step is to go to the head office in Pretoria where we really hope that we will get this sorted out. We are exhausted and heartbroken but we will not give up until our baby boy is registered.
