We are kids and we need to enjoy life while we are young, we are at school 6 to 7 hours a day and to come home and do homework, It isn't fair to us, we are getting older and can drift away from our families and doing homework can take time away from spending time with the people we love, we need to enjoy our childhood without stressing about homework, what if we have other activities, it can cause us staying up late and scince school is so early we are losing sleep witch isn't good, and not enough sleep can make us not focused in school, especially for us in middle/high school. It can give us stress witch is the last thing I’m sure we want right now. Maybe on a Friday night, weekend or even a week day I’m sure we have had friends ask us to hang out or something and you would have to say,”sorry I have homework”. It isn't fair, aren’t we doing enough work at school 5 times a week. That is about 30-35 hours a week and then on top of it, doing homework, it should not happen. The only homework I see necessary is a project every once in a while or maybe even like some reading. But no having to write essays or do like half a textbook of math problems and all the other tons of homework we get. Haven’t we all had those days planing to come home and maybe watch a move, play video games and hang out with some friends. Then we realize we have homework and it ruins our day. Having to deal with homework can definitely get us in a mood. Like I said before it can take time away from being with the People we really care about. Homework can also make us dread going to school and dreading school can stop us from listening and might damage our education. Teachers and department of education, hear me out, with all the things that homework can do to us, and might give us a worse education, do you really want that for us? I’m sure some of you have kids and back to my main reason, hate when they don’t want to spend time with you, well homework can definitely play a role in that. I really hope you take the time to think about that and to everyone who read this, thank you for taking the time to read this and u hope you take action to stand with me and fight against homework.
