Bring Sign-Language into the school curriculum in the UK

Bring Sign-Language into the school curriculum in the UK
The Issue
In the UK alone, there are over 11 million people with hearing loss and over 900,000 who have profound/severe hearing loss. That is almost 1 in 5 people who have hearing loss! On the other hand there is according to the British Deaf Association only around 151,000 people who use British Sign Language. Because of this, I've decided to start this petition to campaign towards bringing Sign Language into the UK national curriculum for schools. This would help individuals who struggle with hearing loss, to feel a part of society and not feel excluded.
