We're trying to tick off the elements that DOC wants to have in place before agreeing to upgrade the public roadway to the top of the hill above Taronui.

The number of people that have signed this petition now numbers more than the Census population of Kerikeri.

We have received useful input from a range of professional experts who are keen to help if they can.

If we do this right, we will be able to put measures in place to protect the coastal environment, marine life and the spirit of a special place, thereby creating a win/win situation for us all, including the landowners who currently use the Crown owned track to reach their properties.
