We expected to hear from DOC's Northland director Sue Reed-Thomas before Easter. When I contacted her after Easter she assured me that she hasn't forgotten about us - so hopefully I'll be able to share some news this coming week.

Until then we're crossing fingers that we get a positive result to our request for improved access to the Taronui reserve and that beautiful stretch of coastline.
