The Issue

We urge Secretary of State Marco Rubio, ICE Director Todd Lyons, and CBP Acting Commissioner Pete Flores to deny any current or future U.S. work visas for the Irish band KNEECAP due to their glorification of foreign-designated terrorist organizations and open incitement to violence against elected officials. This conduct is incompatible with American values and should not be legitimized through access to U.S. venues.

To:
 • Secretary of State Marco Rubio
 • Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Todd Lyons
 • Acting Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Pete Flores

We, the undersigned, call on the U.S. government to uphold its commitment to national security and democratic integrity by denying entry and work authorization to the Irish band KNEECAP.

This group has openly praised foreign-designated terrorist organizations and has incited political violence, including calls for the assassination of elected officials in the United Kingdom. Such rhetoric is not artistic expression—it is a security threat.

The United States has long held that individuals who promote terrorism or glorify violence are ineligible for visas. Granting KNEECAP access to American stages, venues, or platforms violates this principle and emboldens others who seek to exploit artistic platforms for extremist messaging.

We urge the Department of State, ICE, and CBP to act decisively and deny KNEECAP any new or renewed work visas. Let this serve as a clear statement:

We welcome creativity—but we will never tolerate hate, glorified violence, or terrorist sympathies.

Protect our values. Safeguard our democracy. Say no to hate on American soil.
