Dear Concerned Community Members,

We need your immediate help to ensure the safety of our community! The individual known as the "Tower District Rapist" is scheduled for a parole hearing on June 6th, and we have a very short window – until next Thursday, May 22nd – to make our voices heard by the California State Board of Parole.

We cannot stand by and allow the potential release of someone who has caused such profound harm to our community. Mayor Dyer, District Attorney Lisa Smittcamp, City of Fresno Council member Annalisa Perea, Chief of Police Paco Balderrama, State Senator Anna Caballero, Assemblywoman Esmeralda Soria, and vital community organizations like RCS, Marjorie Mason Center, and Centro La Familia are united in their concern and believe that his release would put our community at unacceptable risk.

Now, we need your voice to join this chorus of concern. Your personal message to the Board of Parole can make a crucial difference. It is vital that they understand the ongoing fear and the potential danger his release represents to our neighborhoods, our families, and ourselves.

We are urgently asking you to take the following action TODAY:

Write a letter or email to the California State Board of Parole expressing your strong opposition to the parole of the "Tower District Rapist."

Key points to consider including in your letter/email:

 * Clearly state your opposition to the parole of the individual known as the "Tower District Rapist."

 * Emphasize the impact of his crimes on the community.

 * Highlight the potential risk to public safety if he is released.

 * You can mention your affiliation with Fresno or a specific neighborhood if you feel comfortable.

 * Keep your letter respectful and focused on the safety of the community.

Please send your letters or emails as soon as possible to ensure they are received by the critical deadline of next Thursday, May 22nd.
