The Issue

On October 7, 2021, in a plea agreement with the state, Jason Neading pleaded guilty in Stark County Common Pleas Court to a gross sexual imposition charge (sexual abuse of a minor), a third-degree felony.

Judge Chryssa Hartnett sentenced Neading to four years in prison. Neading’s expected release date is April 14, 2025.

On October 9, 2024, at 1 p.m., Neading has a Judicial Release Hearing with Judge Hartnett. Judicial Release is a process by which an eligible offender meeting certain requirements may be released from incarceration by the sentencing judge.

By signing this petition, I am signifying to Judge Hartnett that I believe Jason Neading should be DENIED Judicial Release and be required to SERVE HIS FULL FOUR YEAR SENTENCE per his guilty plea agreement with the state.
