Tanner Lynn Horner is currently sitting at the Wise County Detention Center on a 1.5 Million Dollar Bond. Why is this man being given a bond after confessing to her killing. Not only did he rob this little girl of her innocence, left a family in pain behind the loss of a child no parent should ever have to go through and the police and first responders on a wild goose we chase to find her body leading the police to several wrong locations before finally admitting the truth. He admitted to killing her but wouldn't say anything else and the people In the community and her family all need answers. Now in Texas we have some crazy laws yes but one states that if you committed a capital offense and if it's to a child you can be denied bail but that is up to a judge. Why was this man given a bond? So he can reoffend? He was said to have had a history of sexual assault or Rape as few as 4 years ago... 2019 he is said to have raped a girl and she post what a monster he was then but nothing was done so he continued to walk the streets preying on his next victim and it's not fair. He doesn't deserve to get out so he can hurt someone else or hell even take his own life to avoid all consequences for his actions. He deserves to sit in there and do his time for the senseless crime he committed. If we don't stand up and do something about it he will possibly get out and reoffend. I've seen it all too many times and they don't get out and do right they do whatever they do because they know their life is over . I don't want to see or hear this man is walking the streets and I sure don't want to see anyone else's child hurt by this man. Please sign the petition so something will change. He doesn't deserve to see the light of day again for the heinous crime he committed and Athena no longer has a voice so we all need to be her voice and do what's right and make sure he suffers the consequences of his actions.
