There has been an unreasonable amount of false fire alarms for the past several months. Not only has this disrupted our daily routines, caused mental distress, and prevented the fire service from helping people in actual need, but most importantly, it poses a severe threat to the safety of our entire community as it reduces trust in our fire alarm systems.

I have noticed that fewer and fewer people have been evacuating from their units when these fire alarms occur, meaning that if an actual fire was to break out, these people may be trapped in their units.

We demand that Skyrise Rentals:

1. Explain the specific causes behind each fire alarm, instead of simply stating that it was a "false alarm."
2. Explain what they have been doing to prevent further occurrences of false fire alarms.
3. Announce and put into action, a new plan to stop these false fire alarms from happening again.

We hope that you will sign the petition and speak to the staff of Skyrise Rentals about our concerns regarding these false fire alarms.
