Tweed Airport EA expected within days

Hello, 

In December, we delivered our petition with your signature and over 1,600 others to the Federal Administration Aviation and our Connecticut legislators. Thank you for your support! 

Your voices have been resonating.  Last month, three more CT legislators joined our call for a federal Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Tweed Airport expansion (see links below for more recent news).

Now we await release of the Environmental Assessment (EA)-- the preliminary study that the airport's contractor has conducted– and the start of a 45-day Public Comment Period.

We will alert you as soon as the EA is released, with guidance on reading it and responding to it. 

• Up next: Registering your voice and concerns during Comment Period will be crucial to the FAA’s decision on whether to require an EIS.
