Cease and desist, Tweed!! Help us make it stick
Today 11/18 the City of New Haven is issuing a Cease and Desist order to Tweed Airport Authority (TAA) for illegal construction at its parking facilities.
The airport's violation exemplifies the TAA's sneaky way of doing business-- cutting corners to satisfy oversized ambitions-- and its disregard for the community and ecology.
Bigger picture, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is now reviewing the airport's preliminary environmental assessment (the EA). The FAA expects to release the EA and open a 45-day comment period in January.
