Demand Valve to add Kernel-Based Anti-Cheat Engine for Counter-Strike

Demand Valve to add Kernel-Based Anti-Cheat Engine for Counter-Strike
The Issue
I am an avid gamer, passionate about Counter-Strike. However, my enjoyment is marred by the constant presence of cheaters in nearly every game I play. This experience is drastically different from other games like Fortnite or Valorant, where effective anti-cheat measures ensure a fair gaming environment.
Cheating in online multiplayer games undermines the spirit of competition and fairness that these platforms are built upon. In Counter-Strike alone, thousands of players are banned every month for cheating (source: SteamDB), indicating a widespread problem that needs urgent attention.
We call on Valve Corporation to take decisive action against this issue by developing a kernel-based anti-cheat engine similar to those used in Fortnite and Valorant. Such an engine would provide more robust protection against cheats by operating at the system level, making it harder for cheats to bypass detection.
Furthermore, we urge Valve Corporation to implement hardware level bans. This would prevent banned users from simply creating new accounts and continuing their cheating behavior.
By taking these steps, Valve Corporation can significantly improve the gaming experience for all legitimate players in Counter-Strike and uphold its commitment to providing fair and enjoyable gameplay.
Several content creators and professional players are currently giving up the game due to the excessive level of cheaters in the game, players like Simple, Anomaly, Neok and team IKLA, have already stopped playing Counter Strike, help us put a stop to this by signing this petition.
Please sign this petition if you believe in a cheat-free environment for all gamers.
