The Teamsters have voted and the contract has been ratified. It includes historic heat protections for our UPS drivers – A/C in trucks, along with other critical additions like fans and vents. The adoption of the contract officially makes our petition a VICTORY.

I want to thank every single one of you who signed, shared, called, emailed, tweeted...your efforts made a difference. Our UPS drivers will finally be safer at work.

When I started this petition five years ago, I wanted to fight back against a company that was putting profit over the lives of its people. My husband was one of those people – a heat stroke nearly took his life while he was working as a UPS driver. I knew I wanted to do something about it, but I could not have imagined that 1.3 million people would stand with me – that we would keep up the fight for this long, and that we would win. 

I'm feeling so many emotions – proud, honored, overwhelmed, hopeful, relieved.
