Hello all, 

Here we are still fighting to save drivers from heat-related illnesses & death. Since starting this petition, UPS has given many excuses as to why they refuse to provide AC. One reason, UPS states is AC ‘isnt  cost-effective’.  How is it then, one of the largest corporations in the shipping industry who has made over 24 billion in consolidated revenue, and made their fortune off the backs of their labor force, continue to deny these drivers, and work force a safe working environment. There's a simple solution, that is cost-effective, with Air-Condition Units that are battery-powered.  It is not only cost-effective, more importantly it works! Let's continue to keep the pressure on UPS until they do the right thing! For those who can attend, please join us, local 804, Change.Org, my husband, and myself tomorrow at 7:30 AM.
