Hi everyone, 

Last Sunday, I joined the New Jersey Workers' Memorial Day March and Rally to honor those who've lost their lives on the job. 

After an indoor presentation, we marched through the streets of New Brunswick with banners, drums, and of course, bull horns. I marched next to families who were carrying signs with the names of their deceased loved ones.  

The police department closed streets and escorted us throughout the march. It was so good to see people joining together with one common bond: to remember lives that were lost and as they said, "fight like hell for the living."
