As an Arab student at the University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM), I am deeply troubled and feel unsafe knowing that one of our professors, Stuart Brian Kamenestky, has been posting offensive, misleading and discriminatory content against Arab and Palestinian students. This is not only a personal concern but also affects a significant portion of the UTM student body, which is largely composed of Arab students.

Professor Kamenestky's posts have painted us as violent terrorists and savages - a gross misrepresentation that fosters an environment of fear and hostility. This goes against the principles upon which our university stands - respect for diversity, equality, and inclusivity.

We believe in freedom of speech but it should never be used as a tool to spread hate or discrimination. It's crucial for educational institutions like ours to ensure that all students feel safe and respected regardless their race or ethnicity.

Therefore, we call on the University of Toronto administration to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter. If found guilty, we demand appropriate disciplinary action be taken against Professor Stuart Brian Kamenestky for his actions which are in clear violation with the university’s code of conduct.
