Demand Uber Overhaul Support. Stop the Lies and loops. Customers and drivers alike.

Demand Uber Overhaul Support. Stop the Lies and loops. Customers and drivers alike.
The Issue
Uber Driver Support is not support — it’s a wall.
For thousands of drivers across the country, contacting Uber support means being lied to, transferred endlessly, or simply hung up on.
This isn’t a one-time glitch — it’s a pattern:
Drivers are told false information just to end the call.
We’re passed to “supervisors” who don’t exist, or dropped into silence.
Support promises payouts, protection from cancellations, or escalation — and none of it happens.
When we follow up, we’re told something completely different — or worse, blamed.
The result? We waste our time. We lose earnings. And we’re left completely unsupported — punished for believing Uber’s own employees.
This is deception by design.
We believe Uber support is built to wear us down until we stop trying. The company has created a system where drivers are intentionally misled, redirected, or ignored — and it needs to stop.
We are calling on Uber to take these concrete steps:
Hold support agents accountable for giving false or misleading information.
End the fake escalation loop — no more dead-end transfers or silent holds.
Create real case tracking and accountability so agents can’t contradict one another.
Provide written confirmation of promises made over the phone or in chat.
Establish consequences for supervisors who hang up or transfer drivers to nowhere.
Drivers are independent contractors — but even under that classification, we have the right to be treated honestly and professionally.
If you’ve ever had a call with Uber support where you were lied to, transferred into silence, or misled until you gave up — sign this petition.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are demanding basic integrity from the platform we work for.
It’s not just drivers who suffer under Uber’s broken support system — riders experience it every day, too.
Have you ever had an issue with a trip, tried to get help, and found yourself stuck in a loop of automated responses, ghosted chats, or support agents who vanish mid-conversation? You’re not alone. Thousands of customers report the same experience: you can’t reach a real person, and when you do, they often transfer you endlessly until you give up.
If something goes wrong with your trip — maybe you were charged incorrectly, maybe your food was missing — you deserve more than a copy-pasted answer and an unresolved issue.
Right now, Uber support is designed not to solve problems but to end conversations quickly and quietly. They bank on the fact that most people won’t keep fighting — and if you do, you’re met with silence or misinformation.
That’s not customer service.
That’s disrespect
