America is unique when it comes to taxation. No other country requires taxpayers to fill out complicated forms in order to give the government information it already has. The IRS already has all of your 1099's and W2's, for instance. Their is no justification for forcing taxpayers to dig up papers just to tell the IRS what they already know.

Why are our taxes needlessly complicated? Companies like TurboTax pay millions of dollars to politicians and lobbyists every year in order to keep themselves in a line of business that should not exist.

What's worse, they trick people with little means into paying them hundreds of dollars for nothing by setting up obstacles to using their legally required free service.

Objectives:

1: Force TurboTax and every similar company to repay all of their clients for the services they did not need and only agreed to pay because they did not know how to use a free option for conveniently filing their taxes.

2: Hold TurboTax criminally and civilly liable for tricking taxpayers into payed services when they tried to use their legally mandated free service.

3: Stop requiring taxpayers to provide the IRS with any information it already has.
