Demand transparency from Bromley FC on key issues
The Issue
Andy Woodman has been more than just a manager for Bromley FC; he has been a beacon of hope and transformation for our club. Leading us to our first-ever promotion to the Football League, winning the FA Trophy, and clinching the League Two title, Woodman's leadership reshaped our future. Yet, shockingly, just a year after extending his contract until 2028, his departure was quietly dismissed with a brief statement of 'mutual termination.' For a manager of his calibre, who has given so much to Bromley, we, the fans, deserve answers.
In the murmur of uncertainty that followed Woodman's exit, the club is also undergoing a significant change with a takeover involving Shoreline Sports and former professional player Victor Anichebe. However, this transition has been shrouded in secrecy, leaving the fans—the heart and soul of Bromley FC—in the dark. Who is behind the takeover? What are their plans? How will this affect the direction and integrity of our beloved club?
Supporters are not just spectators; we are the lifeblood of Bromley FC. Our investment of emotion, time, and unwavering support demands respect in the form of transparency from the club's management. Without us, the very essence of the football club is at stake.
Transparency and effective communication are foundational not only for maintaining trust but also for future success on and off the pitch. To foster a cohesive club community, an open dialogue must be maintained between the management, the fans, and all stakeholders involved. By making decision-making processes open and honest, Bromley FC can ensure that everyone, from the players to the supporters, has a clear understanding of the club’s trajectory.
We call upon the Bromley FC management to immediately clarify the circumstances surrounding Andy Woodman's departure, to disclose the identities and strategic intentions of those involved in the ownership transition, and to openly discuss the future plans for the club. Only through transparency can Bromley FC continue to thrive and grow.
Show your support for full transparency by signing this petition. As devoted supporters of Bromley FC, let us unite to demand the respect, information, and clarity that we rightfully deserve.
