📢 Petition Update – 10 November 2025

Dear supporters,

We wanted to share a significant update in Elva’s case. Our MP has now written directly to the Secretary of State, raising concerns about veterinary governance, informed consent, and clinical contradictions in Elva’s treatment. We’re awaiting a formal response and will keep you informed.

We’ve also submitted further evidence to the RCVS Tier 1 investigation and the Clinical Resolutions Team, exposing serious contradictions in the provider’s own account — including:

Claims that Elva’s surgery was “septic prior to recommendation,” while also stating “no indicators of sepsis were present”
Intraoperative notes suggesting uterine rupture may have occurred before surgery, yet this was never disclosed to us
Missing ultrasound reports, anaesthetic documentation, and time of death
Errors in Elva’s recorded neuter status and failure to disclose a heart murmur
These failures go beyond one case. They reflect a broken system where families are left grieving, confused, and without answers. We’re fighting for transparency, accountability, and reform — not just for Elva, but for every animal and family affected.
