As many University of Maryland supporters and alumni, we reminisce on the days when our basketball program was a force to be reckoned with, a fearless team under Gary Williams that would take on any and all opponents. Since those days, the University has opted for safe choices for our coaching staff and, frankly, this hasn't resulted in the success we yearn for. We believe it's high time to stir the waters and that is why we are campaigning for the appointment of Luke Murray as the next head coach. 

Murray has an impressive track record in recruiting (one of the top 5 recruiters in 2019), and designed one of the most efficient offenses in modern history. His contributions in large part lead Uconn to back-to-back national championships. We believe that Murray is just the coach our team needs to recapture its former glory. 

Basketball is the heart and soul of our University's identity, and we believe that this decision could spark a rejuvenation of that identity. We urge the University of Maryland to make a fearless choice and hire Murray!
