Indian Railways carries millions of Indians every day. Passengers pay for their tickets and services — they deserve safety, dignity, transparency and accountability in return.

Yet passengers continue to raise serious concerns about corruption, overcharging, ticketing irregularities, unsafe conditions, poor food hygiene, delays and ineffective grievance redressal.

We refuse to accept these problems as “normal.”

OUR DEMANDS ARE CLEAR:

1️⃣ ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CORRUPTION & OVERCHARGING
Passengers must not be exploited for essential services.

2️⃣ SAFE & TRANSPARENT TICKETING
Booking and reservation systems must protect passengers and prevent irregularities.

3️⃣ PASSENGER SAFETY FIRST
No compromise on safety. Every serious incident must receive transparent scrutiny.

4️⃣ FOOD HYGIENE — INCLUDING PREMIUM TRAINS
Passengers deserve clean, safe and quality food, backed by regular inspections and accountability.

5️⃣ TIME-BOUND GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
A complaint should not disappear into a system. Passengers deserve answers and action-taken reports.

6️⃣ ACCOUNTABILITY FOR DELAYS & FAILURES
Repeated failures require explanations, corrective action and responsibility.

🚨 OUR MESSAGE IS SIMPLE:

We don’t want excuses.
We don’t want empty assurances.
We want results.

When persistent public concerns remain unresolved, leadership must accept responsibility.

We therefore demand that Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw step down and accept political responsibility, and that Indian Railways receive leadership committed to safety, transparency, efficiency and passenger rights.
