We are deeply offended by the actions of MP Michelle Ferreri and are calling for her immediate resignation from the Standing Committee on the Status of Women . She has proven time and time again she is an unsuitable member for this important committee. MP Ferreri was a disastrous choice for the committee given her past disrespectful profanity laced rants on social media and ongoing misleading statements in the House of Commons and on her social media.

Most recently she used her position of the Status of Women committee to play partisan games and revictimize women who have experienced violence. She is repeatedly rude, condensing and refuses to listen to committee testimony as she seeks advantages for her social media clips.

MP Ferreri misrepresentation of key data, statistical reports and what is said at meetings with experts and key stakeholders is particularly concerning, deliberately obscuring fact with fiction to incite rage with the Conservative base. This behavior undermines her credibility and is an insult to Canadians.

It is essential for committee members to uphold highest standards of truth, integrity, and respect for the women they represent. Yet, MP Michelle Ferreri's actions have shown that she is not fit to hold this position. The work of the Committee is too important to be destroyed by such gross misconduct.

Therefore, we call for MP Michelle Ferreri's immediate resignation from the Status of Women Committee. We need representatives who respect and value truth and integrity above all else. Please, stand with me in demanding this much-needed change. Sign and share this petition.
