As a concerned citizen of Minnesota, we believe that all Minnesotans deserve leaders with integrity. 

Current Senator, Minnesota Senator Nicole Mitchell is charged with a serious crime; first-degree felony burglary on suspicion of allegedly breaking into a home.  (Read the 911 Emergency Call Transcript)

This situation has cast a dark shadow over her ability to effectively represent us and uphold the values we hold dear in our state.

It is deeply troubling that someone who should be upholding the law and setting an example for others is instead embroiled in serious legal troubles themselves. This not only undermines public trust but also tarnishes the reputation of our state's leadership.

We must remember that elected officials are held to a higher standard - they are meant to serve as role models for their constituents and should embody honesty, integrity, and respect for the law. When they fail to do so, it becomes necessary for them to step down from their positions.

In light of these circumstances, we call on Minnesota Senator Nicole Mitchell to resign from her position immediately.

By doing so she will allow space for someone who can truly represent all  Minnesotans without any blemish on their record.
