Grateful for opportunity this morning to sit down with Tom at Bartlesville Radio and explain in more thorough detail why the architecture of this technology, the devices themselves, and the trends shaping this space must be understood in a fuller context and with far greater scrutiny than is currently present.
It is a red herring to be focused on the current iteration of what the software functionality being sold to you is.
What’s important is that the data gathering infrastructure being installed lends itself to FAR more sophisticated use cases than the just the present ones—use cases that can be engaged with minimal effort simply by spinning up a sufficiently well-equipped software engineering team with new objectives and near infinite computing resources that can be brought to bear on any cloud data.
Please continue to stay engaged on this and communicate openly with your city council members about why we do not want this infrastructure installed in our community.
