As fellow humans, we cannot sit idle and watch the brutality inflicted upon Ahmad Manasra continue any longer. Ahmad, now 23 years old, has been held unlawfully in an Israeli prison since he was merely a child(age 13) for a crime he did not commit. He has suffered unimaginable torment - torture, deprivation of water and food, denial of medical aid. 

Ahmad's ordeal took a horrifying turn when he was attacked by IDF forces and run over by their vehicle. Since then, they have kept him in solitary confinement for years on end. The psychological impact has been devastating; Ahmad is now schizophrenic with suicidal ideation. He mixes his speech and experiences bouts of crying and depression.

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) states that children should be detained only as a last resort and for the shortest appropriate period (Article 37(b)). Yet Ahmad's case blatantly defies this international law.

We implore you to stand with us against this gross violation of human rights. We must demand justice for Ahmad Manasra who has lost his childhood to unlawful imprisonment and torture but hasn't lost our support or hope.
