Many of you in the SKCC leadership group received an email yesterday from the Public Information Officer at the Seattle Center providing their perspective on how the Clinic lost the Oct 2022 dates.  In addition I had a conversation with SC and Climate Pledge Arena leadership which reiterated many of the same points.   I've asked them to clarify why the Oct 2022 dates were offered in the first place if the NHL and WNBA contracts preclude allowing 7 days for the Clinic (includes set-up and take down).   In addition I've asked how it will be possible in the future for the Clinic to take place in the arena if the contracts are so restrictive as to not allow a seven day window.  Hopefully we will all get a followup email soon which clarifies those questions.

I do want to thank all of you for your support and advocacy through this process.  Your voices and by extension the voices of our patients have been heard.  It is making a difference.
