As someone deeply disturbed by the lenient punishment awarded by the NRL to Ezra Mam, I call upon all passionate followers and believers in the spirit of the game to join me in this cause. Numerous lives, including people from my life and others, have been lost due to the actions such as Ezra's. Absolving such acts that pose a potential threat to lives with such light consequences portrays a message we as fans strongly oppose.

Analyzing publicly available data of NRL's disciplinary actions over years could suggest inconsistencies and lack of uniform standards in levying punishments. This is by no means acceptable for an institution of such repute and following.

Through this petition, we implore the NRL to reconsider their judgement regarding Ezra Mam and provide a public explanation of their reasoning. Also, we demand the development of a clear, consistent, and transparent disciplinary procedure that can ensure such incidents do not reoccur. It is the key to reinstating trust and respect among all stakeholders involved.
