The Kansas City Chiefs' kicker Harrison Butker delivered a commencement speech where he railed against DEI, supported traditional gender roles, and called out “Catholic” leaders that support abortion. In response, a petition to “Demand the Kansas City Chiefs to Dismiss Harrison Butker for Discriminatory Remarks” has received well over 100,000 signatures.

The petition, in part, reads, “his comments were sexist, homophobic, anti-trans, anti-abortion and racist…. These comments reinforce harmful stereotypes that threaten social progress.” It continues, “we demand accountability from our sports figures who should be role models promoting respect for all people regardless of their race, gender identity or sexual orientation. We call upon the Kansas City Chiefs management to dismiss Harrison Butker immediately for his inappropriate conduct.”

The NFL responded, saying "Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity… His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger."

The woke mind virus has taken over many aspects of American popular culture and is divisive. The Left demands to destroy Butker’s career for the crime of expressing Catholic views.

Christians still make up the majority in the United States, and we cannot allow a tyrannical minority of voices control speech, determine career trajectories, and influence institutions and organizations.
