Tanner Pool has pleaded guilty to seven counts of Failure to Provide Proper Care to Animals and eight counts of Cruelty to Animals – Willful or Malicious Abuse or Injury. After months of attempting to negotiate a plea deal, he ultimately accepted responsibility for every charge brought against him.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Pocatello Prosecutor's Office for pursuing justice and sending a clear message that this kind of inhumane treatment will not be tolerated. This case sets an important precedent against animal cruelty in our community.

What’s next? The Prosecutor is now seeking restitution from Mr. Pool, pending final approval by the Judge.

Our final request in this petition is that the legal system ensures Mr. Pool is permanently prohibited from owning or having custody of any animals in the future.
