I advise you read my previous petition updates on what's happening in Gaza and Sudan. 

to add to the catastrophe, israel now moves to prohibit 37 aid organisations / NGOs from further operations in the entire Gaza Strip – this includes Doctors Without Borders ( or MSF ). they support about 20% of hospital beds, and one-third of births in Gaza, along with other essential supplies.

when the aid organisations leave, so many lifelines for Palestinians are cut completely. immediate needs like food kitchens, clean water or water purification tablets, fuel, transport, medication, or temporary shelters would be more severely limited than they already are !

aside from the obvious, when the aid organisations leave, as does visibility ! international medical or aid workers / organisations usually document the abhorrent conditions, events, & challenges they face in Gaza.

many areas across Sudan, access to the internet is severely limited – making it difficult to tell what's exact. this is particularly true for the city el-Fasher in West Darfur, seized by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in October. satellite imagery has has to play a crucial role in telling the city's story.

there are hardly any aid groups or local journalists to provide us with news. al Jazeera correspondent Muammar Ibrahim is currently held in RSF detention, his whereabouts are unknown at this time. foreign journalists are nowhere to be found, unable to enter the territory.

from witness testimonies and satellite imagery, it's clear that executions, mass murder / atrocities, and Genocide have and ARE CURRENTLY taking place ..

please, don't stop applying pressure on your elected officials. as you've signed this petition, you surley agree the Irish Government / media hasn't done nearly enough for our brothers and sisters in Palestine or Sudan.

I recently upadated my Google doc – with email templates directed at Irish Government representatives / media workers, demanding swift action and accurate reporting on the horrors and living conditions in Gaza and Darfur.

these messages are already typed out & ready. you only have to compromise an email, copy - paste the template to wish to use, edit the text however you wish ( optional ), sign your name, then finally send. email addresses you can contact in regards to this matter are included in the doc.

consider sending an email or two, you don't have to be in Ireland. this is a simple action to take if you feel paralysed or are unsure of what you can do.

( for those in Ireland, I recommend contacting your local constituency TD )
