The amount of people killed seeking aid in Gaza has long been in the thousands, and our demands stay consistent -- the Irish government must pressure the nations of the world, in the EU, UN, around the globe, to intervene and stop this genocide, this holocaust, in which we see on our screens day after day.

Nations that have militaries, arms, recourses... and are well within their legal right to do this are still only talking and talking about the same diplomatic processes that has not gotten us anywhere, if even.

Gaza is officially in a famine, and attacks on Gaza City significantly escalate every day, as the army seizes more territory.

Hundreds of people have been slaughtered, and homes, tents shelters, are being destroyed – razed to the ground. Those who are remaining have nowhere to go, people who try to leave aren't granted a safe passage.

One million people are expected to evacuate to and stay within an area no larger than 43km². Its reasonable to assume that anyone who is outside this concentration camp will be vulnerable to targeted killing. Military intervention is the only way to put a stop to this.

Israel knows they can act with impunity, and is counting on the bystander effect and the fact that nobody is taking interventive action. Preventing this final solution from taking place cannot happen through purely diplomatic means.

We need to open a humanitarian corridor, any UN member state, including Ireland, can propose a resolution in the UN General Assembly or the Security Council. The right exists for the Secretary General to seek to put together an international defence corridor.

Ireland has a peacekeeping force experienced in assisting humanitarian projects -- that can work in coordination with other militaries to help the people of Gaza, combat famine, in a safe and dignified manner.

This humanitarian corridor must also come with the dismantlement of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, which as this petition makes clear is nothing but a death trap and violates all kinds of international humanitarian laws...

If international laws still hold any meaning at all, this must be what happens.

Myself and many others are writing letters and sending countless emails to those in government, I will be writing to elected officials and bring to them this petition -- the more signatures we have strengthens our case. We cannot continue to be ignored.

I have template messages that you can send to those within the Irish government who can act, the third message down focuses on military intervention -- send an email, even if its the only thing you do today.

Protect Palestine is an organisation that has been at the forefront of fighting for military intervention, you can participate in their lobby campaigns aswell --
