First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who has been signing, sharing and supporting this initiative -- we need to keep doing everything we can to move our government forward, and urge them to challenge the silence of the international community, to help the people of Gaza, 

-- particularly when pushing for a humanitarian corridor to deliver food and aid to the Palestinians with dignity. However, as famine sweeps across Gaza City, so do significant bombardments -- the offensive invasion of the Israeli military, and eventually Israel's final solution seems imminent. Israel is threatening to raise Gaza City as they did with Rafah and Beit Hanoun. 

As prominent Palestinian journalist Bisan Owda explains, the occupation of Gaza City means that there will be no more living Palestinians residing in the entire area of Northern Gaza. One million people have nowhere to go, and those who do attempt to leave are not protected from bombardments and snipers. Many doctors and healthcare workers vow not to move, endangering their lives.

These one million Palestinians are expected to evacuate through unsafe passageways to an area smaller than 43km², a clear crime against humanity. 

"Allowing this to happen, allowing this exactly to happen, is allowing another Nakba and ensuring that the Palestinians in Gaza Strip wouldn't be able to get back to the north areas of Gaza Strip, to Gaza City, and the north areas forever."

We are again, at a severe tipping point. If the world governments are going to act, it needs to be NOW. 

If Ireland is going to take a firm stand, and call on the EU, the UN and NATO to get aid and troops into Gaza, its going to have to be now. And it has come to us, regular civilians to push them to do it. 

Myself and many others will be writing handwritten letters to people in government, to them I will bring my concerns, and this petition to demonstrate what we want, and when we want it.

I have updated my template messages (that you can send to people in the Irish government about Gaza), the third message down demands swift action be taken, to demand Ireland push for military intervention.

PLEASE send an email, even if its the only thing you do today. Gaza City needs us.
