These new air drops are not only a drop in the ocean, but also humiliate desperate Palestinians seeking aid. 

The Israeli army bragged that they dropped aid parcels into Gaza this week. However, when they carried out six aid drops on Tuesday - four out of those six fell in areas under the control of the Israeli occupation army or in areas under evacuation orders. Exposing those present to direct targeting and killing. 

 Euro Med Human Rights Monitor stated, "Addressing the starvation in Gaza cannot be achieved through superficial or gaudy measures, but requires an immediate end to the blockade and the opening of safe, stable land corridors to enable the regular and sufficient delivery of food, medicine and fuel. The only real solution is safe, protected land corridors for aid delivery under UN supervision.

"400 aid centers once operated in Gaza before Israel dismantled them. They must be restored. Anything less, including these air spectacles, is complicity in genocide. Air drops aren't about saving lives, they're about masking a war crime and preserving control."

Please, I want to urge everyone to stay focused, and we keep demanding that the Irish government do everything possible to ensure there is intervention and a fully neutral humanitarian corridor opened in Gaza - ran by experienced aid agencies. 

Anything else is complicit in Genocide - in the crime of our century.
