Today, Simon Harris (Irish Minister of Defense and Foreign affairs) posted about how great it it that France will finally recognize the state of Palestine... in SEPTEMBER. 

Right now, Gaza is at level 5 of the IPC, meaning widespread famine and excess mortality. If there is no immediate intervention from world governments, Gaza will starve to death and be exterminated, certainly by September.  

Israeli forces imposed restrictions along Gaza's shore, people trying to fish to feed themselves will be shot.

Now, it has reached a point that over 1,000 people have been killed seeking aid since late May. People have been funneled into cages, gunned down, gassed and trampled, instead of aid agencies with almost a century of experience distributing aid. 

Recently, disturbing testimonies from doctors concluded that IDF soldiers are shooting civilians "almost like a game of target practice". Targeting different parts of the body on different days.  

I have sent three handwritten letters to the Taoiseach and the Tánaiste (and local Fine Gael TD, Martin Heydon) and I have showcased this petition, and demanded that immediate intervention and decisive action be taken. 

I have also prepared template emails to send in regards to this, please send some emails to mount pressure, this is more urgent than ever. 

If we do not act right now, the consequences will be irreversible.
