As a proud alumna/us of Saint Augustine's University (SAU), I am deeply concerned about the future of our beloved institution. SAU has been a beacon of hope and opportunity for many, including first-generation students and those without family support structures.  The competitive education provided by SAU has led to stable careers for countless alumni.  

However, the current state of affairs at SAU is alarming. There is presently alleged allegations of mismanagement of federal funding along with misallocation of said funds which these funds are the sole purpose of maintaining a safe optimal environment where our current students may flourish.  Additionally, there are several alleged accounts of board member overreach, performed by several board members excluding the student representative.  With all of this being said, there is an urgent need for change in leadership to restore the university's legacy and ensure its continued success. We believe that the current Board of Trustees must resign effective immediately in order to pave way for this much-needed change.

Saint Augustine's University was founded in 1867 with a mission to provide quality education to all who seek it. Over its long history, it has produced successful graduates who have made significant contributions across various fields. However, recent events have cast a shadow over this proud legacy.

The call for resignation does not come lightly but stems from deep concern about preserving the integrity and future prospects of our cherished institution. This is not just about us as individuals; it’s about protecting an institution that serves as an educational lifeline for many students who might otherwise be left behind.
