We, concerned members and supporters of the National Association of Realtors (N.A.R.), as well as agents and brokers representing other real estate boards within the United States, call for the immediate resignation of Kenny Parcell from his position as President.  Mr. Parcell has abused his position of power and created a toxic culture within N.A.R., that can only be changed with new leadership.  This is a critical time for N.A.R. to execute on its core objectives.  With all these distractions now engulfing the organization, it cannot focus on its mission until its house is in order. 

1. Hostile Work Environment: Numerous reports have surfaced regarding a toxic work environment fostered under Kenny Parcell's leadership. Employees have described instances of harassment, discrimination, and intimidation within NAR. Such an atmosphere not only undermines productivity but also hinders progress towards gender equality in our industry.

2. Disregard for Women & Women's Rights: Mr. Parcell has demonstrated a concerning lack of respect for women's rights within N.A.R. His actions perpetuate gender inequality and contribute to an unsafe workplace environment where female professionals feel undervalued and marginalized.

3. Lack of Accountability: Despite multiple complaints filed against him by employees, there has been no visible action taken by Mr. Parcell or the N.A.R board to address these serious concerns effectively. This lack of accountability sends a message that such behavior is tolerated within our organization.

4. Negative Impact on Members' Reputation: The ongoing controversies surrounding Mr. Parcell reflect poorly on all members associated with N.A.R., and to all those in the real estate industry, damaging their professional reputation and credibility.

5. Upholding Ethical Standards: As President of N.A.R., it is essential that Mr. Parcell upholds ethical standards both personally and professionally while promoting inclusivity and equality among all members without exception.

6. The comments attributed to Mr. Parcell and CEO Bob Goldberg in the recent New York Times report on N.A.R., demonstrates a complete lack of empathy and understanding of the serious harm caused to women within N.A.R., and to the organization as a whole.

We, the undersigned, demand that Kenny Parcell resign from his position as President of NAR immediately. It is time for new leadership that will prioritize creating a safe and inclusive work environment for all members. Together, let us ensure that NAR remains an organization dedicated to promoting professionalism, equality, and respect within the real estate industry.
